This ghost tells the story of Rocky’s Matcha. Like many great businesses before it, the story begins with a chance encounter - like Ben meeting Jerry in a renovated gas station, or Steve meeting Woz in a Palo Alto yoga studio.
Our story begins in 2020, when Rocky Xu met a shaman in Topanga Canyon. The shaman made clear "always tea; never coffee", and so beget Rocky's exploration of matcha. In 2022, a company was born - a traveling tea house called Rocky’s Matcha.
Culture is made when communities come together. At Awake in New York, they come together over Rocky’s Matcha. At Community Goods in Los Angeles, they come together over Rocky’s Matcha.
